Physiotherapist

Job Purpose:

The Physiotherapist is responsible for providing physiotherapy care to players, including treatment and rehabilitation. This role involves working closely with the medical team to ensure players maintain their physical health and recover effectively from injuries to perform optimally on the field.

Key Activities, Responsibilities and Accountabilities (main accountabilities, not exhaustive list of tasks)

 Player Health Management:

• Provide physiotherapy care for all players, including treatment and rehabilitation.
• Assist in developing and implementing injury prevention programs.

Injury Prevention and Rehabilitation:

• Support the rehabilitation of injured players, working with the medical team to ensure safe and effective return to play.
• Monitor players' progress during rehabilitation and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

Collaboration with Medical Team:

• Work closely with doctors, physiotherapists, and other specialists to deliver comprehensive care.
• Ensure all physiotherapy practices follow the latest industry standards.

Medical Records and Compliance:

• Maintain accurate and confidential records of treatments and rehabilitation processes.
• Ensure compliance with medical regulations and ethical standards.

• Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy or a related field.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a physiotherapy role, preferably in professional sports.
• Proven ability to manage player health and rehabilitation effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Arabic and English.
• Experience working with football teams.
• Certification in sports physiotherapy or related fields.
