Al-Ittihad Professional Football Club, one of the leading sports organizations in Saudi Arabia, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our Medical Department. This role is pivotal in providing high-quality medical care and emergency support to our athletes, ensuring their optimal health and performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing, preferably with experience in emergency departments within local hospitals, and be proficient in both Arabic and English.
Provide immediate medical care and emergency response during training sessions, matches, and club events.
Assess and monitor players' health, including injury prevention, first aid, rehabilitation assistance, and recovery planning.
Organize and manage the scheduling of medical and imaging examinations for players, ensuring timely and efficient health evaluations.
Accompany players to imaging examinations and emergency room visits as required, serving as a liaison between the medical staff and healthcare facilities.
Manage and maintain the medical department's pharmacy, including inventory management, ordering supplies, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
Administer medications as prescribed by the club’s medical doctors and assist in the monitoring and management of player health records.
Perform administrative tasks related to medical records, ensuring confidentiality, accuracy, and easy access for authorized personnel.
Collaborate with the medical team, including doctors and physiotherapists, to develop and implement comprehensive healthcare plans for players.
Coordinate and conduct health screenings and physical examinations.
Ensure that all medical supplies and equipment are maintained and stocked appropriately.
Maintain accurate and confidential medical records for all players.
Educate players and staff on health, wellness, and injury prevention strategies.
Ensure the medical facilities and equipment are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and functionality.
Stay updated with the latest nursing practices, sports medicine developments, and emergency response techniques.
Skills
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from a recognized institution.
Valid nursing license in Saudi Arabia.
A minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, with a strong preference for candidates who have worked in emergency departments of local hospitals.
Native fluency in Arabic and proficient in English.
In-depth knowledge of sports injuries, first aid, emergency care, and rehabilitation principles.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by the team’s schedule.
